What is the best way to use CALM and DEEP SLEEP?

  1. The foundational piece is CALM.  Take 2 a night every night.

  2. If experiencing jet lag, mood issues or more chronic sleep issues, add 2 capsules of DEEP SLEEP.

    They work magically together!

Wake up fresh, enhance focus and protect your brain and body from age and environment related decline in the long run.

How often can I use DEEP SLEEP?  Is it habit forming?

DEEP SLEEP is designed to enhance your ability to fall asleep naturally over time.

While it is safe for chronic daily use, In general with herbs I would still give your body breaks to encourage independence off the supplements.

Possible regimes include using DEEP SLEEP every other day, using it for 2 weeks and taking a 2 week break, or using it every alternate week.

Each bottle of calm includes 15 servings which roughly equates to a months’ supply if using according to the above suggested dosing regime.

Is CALM safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding?

CALM is made of 100% pure Magnesium Glycinate with no added preservatives or additives.  As many mothers are deficient in Magnesium, it is a fantastic idea to start supplementing with CALM daily to top up your stores and ensure your baby has a healthy heart, brain and bones.  It is also very calming and relaxing and aids in achieving better pregnancy and birth outcomes.

Is DEEP SLEEP safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Each individual ingredient in DEEP SLEEP has had no record of safety issues in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

With most interventions I’d apply precaution in the first trimester and wait til the second trimester to try using it.

Can I give CALM to my children?

1 capsule daily will achieve the RDA for a child under 9 years old.

2 capsules daily will achieve the RDA for a person over 9 years old.

Can I give DEEP SLEEP to my children?

All the individual ingredients in DEEP SLEEP have long been regarded as safe.  However, no research has been done on the formulation and you may use it with discretion.  My advice is to wait til they’re 16+ or at least 40kg in weight before using this sleep aid.

Can I open up the capsules into a drink?

Sure you can!

What does pharmaceutical grade mean?

Nutritional supplements are typically available in four different categories: pharmaceutical grade, medical grade, cosmetic or nutritional grade, and feed or agricultural grade.

Pharmaceutical grade is the highest quality grade of vitamins, meaning the purity, dissolution and absorption meet the highest regulatory standard verified by an outside party.

Medical grade vitamins are also a high-grade vitamin, although they may not meet all of the standards of pharmaceutical grade vitamins. Prenatal vitamins typically fall into this category.

Cosmetic or nutritional grade supplements are typically sold in health food stores. These supplements might not always be tested for absorption, dissolution or purity. Additionally, these supplements do not always have the same concentrations of active ingredients as what is listed on the label.

What are your capsules made of?

Vegetable cellulose

What are the added ingredients?

What you see is what you get on the ingredient label.

It is made purely out of the stated active ingredients only.

We do not add any excipients, fillers or binders in order to maximise on absorbability and effect on your body.

Our philosophy helps you reduce your overall body burden of unnecessary ingredients, which can build up over time.

These formulas are also suitable for vegetarians and those with multiple allergies or chemical sensitivities.

Can I combine them with the medications that I’m currently on?

All our formulas are designed to be combined safely and effectively with most pharmaceuticals, however each individual body constitution may vary.  It is a good idea to ensure your leading physician is aware of the supplements you are using.

I have learned that CALM is made purely of Magnesium Glycinate.  But there are many forms of Magnesium besides Magnesium Glycinate.    Could another form of Magnesium be better for my needs?

Magnesium Glycinate is a stable and highly bioavailable chelate mineral complex.

In my 20 years dealing with patients who have deep depletions of intracellular Magnesium, I have found the Glycinate form to come with the least side effects, particularly diarrhea or loose stool.

It ultimately gives the same brain, bones, heart and calming effects of all the others in the long run.

2-3 capsules daily, preferably taken before bed, along with a balanced diet of plenty of fruit and vegetables will help you achieve your recommended daily allowance.

In depletion, it may take at least 3-6 months of daily use to replenish stores.

CALM is designed for daily use to replace daily urinary losses.

What is the recommended daily allowance for Magnesium?

The maximum recommended daily dose of magnesium for adults is 420 mg for males and 350 mg for females. However, some factors may influence your required dose, such as age and health conditions.

Do I need to test my Magnesium levels before taking it?

No, you don’t.

Most labs are only able to run tests for serum Magnesium levels.

Yet only 1% of your total body Magnesium is in the serum.

Levels will almost always show up as normal even in a deep cellular deficiency.

That is because 99% of our body’s Magnesium resides in our red blood cells, muscles and bones.

A Red Blood Cell Magnesium Level can be done for academic purposes, costs s$100-200, and needs centrifuging within 2h of blood collection.  It also needs a Royal Blue (EDTA) tube or Trace Element-Free Transport Tube which most retail clinics do not hold stock for.

My clinical experience has led me to prioritise healthcare spend on supplementing instead.

When you take your CALM daily, and feel heaps better, it is a good sign your body was in need of it.

Can you share more about your manufacturing procedures?

There are many mass made formulas that we could slap on our own label and market it.

In the pursuit of purity and excipient-free supplements, we small batch craft them from scratch.

Pharmaceutical grade ingredients are sourced from approved facilities from Australia and USA.

The ingredients are then are shipped to our lab in Singapore to be dosed,  encapsulated and bottled.

Finally, third party testing is done on each batch to verify ingredient contents as well as to screen for impurities such as bacteria, fungus and heavy metal contaminants.

Having this traceability from start to finish provides the assurance you are getting the highest grade active ingredient without additives nor contaminants.

This is an unrelenting standard due to the care needed with some of our sickest and chemically sensitive persons, in our chemically laden post industrial world.

Most people aren't that aware of the variations and quality disparities in the supplement industry that goes beyond the due diligence of reading a supplement label.

As a result of the low level of awareness, companies get away with using inferior raw materials and sub therapeutic doses, yet market strongly with big promises and a disproportionate price tag.

We believe high quality nutrients with no impurities should be the standard, and from the testimonials we receive, the difference is clearly perceivable.
