Are you doing these 4 things while in Nature?

So last week we established the undeniable benefits of getting out more, today I'd like to talk about how to make the experience more impactful for your health!

#1 Forest bathing

This can be as elaborate as a 3h guided meditation forest tour, or as simple as walking in any natural environment and consciously connecting with your surroundings.

The more you do it, the better you'll get at getting to alpha state fast.

#2 Harnessing the energy of trees...

Try sitting with your back up against a tall sturdy tree and meditate. Use the tree's energy to ground and balance you. Draw on that energy to connect with the deep roots of the earth. Connect to the deep stability within yourself.

Continue meditating on whatever comes to mind.  It could be strength, upward growth, reaching to the heavens, being home to a diversity of life, leaving a legacy...

#3 Grounding/earthing

Restore the bio-electrical circuitry that governs our body.

Our brain, heartbeat and neurotransmitters rely on electrical signals to function!  Think of the heart - cardiologists routinely do an echocardiogram (ECG).  This measures the electrical activity of the heart to diagnose a heart attack.)
Biophysicist James Oschman, Ph.D., author of Energy Medicine:The Scientific Basis (2000), sums it up best: “The moment your foot touches the Earth, or you connect to the Earth through a wire, your physiology changes. An immediate normalization begins. And an anti-inflammatory switch is turned on.
People stay inflamed because they never connect with the Earth, the source of free electrons which can neutralize the free radicals in the body that cause disease and cellular destruction. Earthing is the easiest and most profound lifestyle change anyone can make.”

#4 Digital detox

Of course, you're NOT going to check your phone during your Vitamin N therapy, right?

When you pair your nature bath with a digital detox you're going to double the benefit in the same amount of time 😘.
🤷🏻‍♀️Where do YOU love to go for your nature "fix"?
